Make Festival Happen Fund

 EDUCATION!   ENCOURAGEMENT!  ENGAGEMENT!  

Staging our annual Festival with more than 7,000 participants takes thousands of hours of work and costs more than GVPAF raises from performers’ registration fees and concert admissions.  Last year, those sources of revenue covered only 50% of the cost of delivering Festival 2019.

When you donate to the Make Festival Happen Fund, you help us pay for everything from music, dance and speech arts venues to professional adjudicators, concert programs, office space and staffing required to coordinate each and every Festival event over six weeks.

GVPAF is a volunteer-based organization.  We rely on over 300 volunteers and a volunteer working Board that, in addition to its governance duties, does much of the work of the organization, including administrative tasks, fundraising, and recruiting and supervising volunteers.

GVPAF shares a BIG VISION and lots of passion but, just as we need volunteers to help us get the work done, we rely on our donors to help us meet our financial obligations.  Please consider a financial gift to ensure that GVPAF can continue to serve aspiring performing artists in Greater Victoria.
